The Wealth, Elites and Tax Justice research theme at the International Inequalities Institute (III) invites expressions of interest from potential postdoctoral researchers to apply to the European Commission’s MSCA European Postdoctoral Fellowship scheme. Selected candidate(s) will be hosted in III.
Research areas of the submitted Expressions of Interest must be in line with the III’s Wealth, Elites and Tax Justice theme’s agenda, which can be seen here.
Award
MSCA European Postdoctoral Fellowships is open to researchers of any nationality. The award supports mobility, training, and career development activities within Europe between 12-24 months.
All expressions of interest must meet the eligibility criteria of the scheme, which can be accessed here.
Applicants must:
- have a PhD degree at the time of the deadline for application;
- have a maximum of eight years’ experience in research;
- not have resided or carried out their main activity (work, studies, etc.) in the country of the beneficiary (i.e. UK in this case) for more than 12 months in the 36 months immediately before the call deadline.
The final deadline to submit an application to the European Commission is 12th October 2021. Expressions of interest should be submitted to the Institute by 1st September 2021.
Your application pack should consist of the following:
- Covering letter (no more than one page), outlining in particular how the proposed research links with the III’s Wealth, Elites and Tax Justice research agenda.
- Research Proposal Summary (no more than two pages). The proposal should outline the main research question, research context, research methods, and a brief project plan.
- Copy of your CV (no more than two pages).
