Each year, the fellowship brings together a diverse cohort of K-12 educators to reflect and share about their experiences. We highlight new voices from across the country, featuring first-person essays from educators and school leaders tackling timely and relevant challenges with real solutions. Above all, we set out to give educators space to reflect, share and learn and an opportunity to amplify their voices, perspectives and experiences.
EdSurge is accepting applications for the fourth cohort of its fellowship program. EdSurge editors work closely with fellows, amplifying authentic voices from the field about issues that really matter. The process of writing, editing and publishing a story is a unique and exciting professional growth opportunity, and an EdSurge editor works with each fellow every step of the way.
Requirements
- This opportunity is open to individuals who are currently full-time, school-based K-12 educators (e.g., classroom teachers, instructional coaches, counselors, librarians, etc.) or school leaders (e.g., principals) in the United States (including U.S. territories).
Benefits
- The fellowship comes with a $5,000 honorarium, which is yours to spend. When you become a fellow, you’re committing to spending time on the fellowship, and we believe that the time and energy you bring to this work should be supported financially.
