ChangeX-Paramount Global World Mental Health Day Community Fund 2024 (S$3,000 in Funding)

Applications are now open for the 2024 ChangeX-Paramount Global World Mental Health Day Community Fund. ChangeX, the community engagement platform, and Paramount Global have announced the launch of the World Mental Health Day Community Fund, a new multi-region mental health and well-being-focused community fund.

The fund will support communities to start or expand projects that positively impact mental health and well-being in the UK, Australia, Canada, Singapore, Mexico, Argentina, Germany, Netherlands, France and Chile. Communities can apply for funding now through September 14, 2024, to encourage action to commence on World Mental Health Day on October 10 2024.

This initiative is part of Paramount’s ongoing commitment to support mental health and well-being around the world. The World Mental Health Day Community Fund builds on the success of the U.S. focused grant program timed to Mental Health Action Day (the third Thursday in May) spearheaded by Paramount’s SHOWTIME/MTV Entertainment Studios and supported by select CBS-owned local stations. This year, grants were provided to 22 non-profit organisations reaching young people across the country for local activations. 

Eligibility criteria

• Projects must address the theme of mental health
• Projects must take place in Singapore
• Applicants must be at least 18 years old or have the permission of a guardian to apply for funding
• Applicants are responsible for all potential tax consequences and legal requirements of receiving funding

If you apply with a proven idea…

1. Choose an idea from the list below, and apply to create your project page.
2. Complete a 30 Day Challenge to unlock funding.
3. Receive the first portion of funding and use it to make your project happen!
4. Share the impact of your project to unlock the final portion of funding.

Funding is allocated to those who successfully complete the challenge on a first-come, first-served basis.

If you apply with your own project…

1. Apply by completing the form before the closing date of 22 Sep, 2024.
2. Wait for your application to be reviewed. We’ll let you know if it was successful by 31 Oct, 2024.
3. If successful, complete some simple steps within 30 days before starting your project.
4. Receive the first portion of funding and use it to make your project happen!
5. Share your project’s impact to unlock the final portion of funding.
