Applications are now open for the OECD’s Youth Advisory Board – Youthwise. Youthwise, the OECD’s Youth Advisory Board, was established in 2021 with a dual mission: to foster a better understanding of international policy-making and the OECD’s work among young people, and to bring forth the valuable perspectives and ideas of youth to the Organisation.
Youthwise is made up of young people aged 18 to 30. These brilliant individuals bring a diverse range of academic and professional backgrounds and interests to the table, including in fields such as artificial intelligence and technology, education, health and social care, climate, environment, gender equality, social mobility, and beyond.
Selection Criteria
Applicants should be:
- between 18 and 30 years of age
- a national of an OECD Member country
- fluent in English
- highly interested in national and international debates on building an inclusive future through the green and digital transitions
- able to be diplomatic, understanding and open to different ideas and perspectives when discussing potentially divisive topics
- neither affiliated with the OECD and subsidiaries, member country delegations, or have a relative who is currently OECD-affiliated
- available to participate in the Youthwise programme from July 2025 until June 2027.
