Applications are now open for the 2024/2025 ONE Global Activists Program. This volunteer program is ideal for people who are passionate about doing more to fight for a more just world, want to develop skills in advocacy and understanding of development finance, and are keen to join a global network of people speaking out for global justice.
To become a ONE Global Activist, you must have the following attributes:
- Passion for creating change
- Interest in engaging policymakers on issues of relevance
- Interest in enhancing their knowledge of development finance
- Willingness to dedicate some time to raise awareness and mobilize different people to support ONE’s initiatives
Benefits
Training to develop skills and knowledge in advocacy, Canadian and global politics and media- Joining activists across Canada and the ONE Global Activists network across Europe, Africa and the US
- Opportunities to represent ONE and meet with decision makers
- Dedicated support to carry out creative and impactful community actions to further ONE’s advocacy work
