About Opportunity

The Digital Transformation Grant provides commercial businesses with a brick-and-mortar location with $2500 towards their adoption of digital technologies.

$2500 Digital Transformation Grant NOW available!

The Huron County Digital Service Squad (DSS) are available to assist small businesses, at no cost, with the development of their Digital Transformation Plan, and application to the Digital Transformation Grant.

Great news! Small businesses no longer need to be part of a zoned commercial core or main street area to qualify, and previous grant recipients can re-apply (although some restrictions do apply).  In addition to grants, businesses have access to training in digital marketing and advertising, software for graphic design, productivity, social media, and website development & redesign.

Eligibility Requirements

  1. Register your business at digitalmainstreet.ca/ontariogrants/ and complete the digital assessment.
  2. Pass the pre-qualification quiz, complete the 2.5 hours of online training, and develop your Digital Transformation Plan.
  3. Apply for a $2,500 grant.

  • A digital assessment of your business’ digital literacy
  • Access to a free online video-based digital transformation training program
  • Developing a basic web presence or enhance your existing web presence by helping you activate easy-to-use tools such as Google My Business and social media
