The HSBC Global Banking Internships will inspire you to apply your skills in an international business and allow you to explore your interests within either Corporate Banking, Investment Banking or Global Liquidity and Cash Management.
Regardless of what subject you have studied, on our competitively paid internship you will explore the work we do in Corporate Banking, Investment Banking, Issuer Services or Global Liquidity and Cash Management by becoming involved in real, challenging projects.
As an intern in Investment Banking, you will get a taste of how we work and advise our clients to support them achieving their long-term strategic goals. Working alongside senior team members and industry experts, you will develop and deepen your skills and financial knowledge and get a broad overview of the different activities and products offered by HSBC globally. You will be integrated within the established team to work on a number of tasks including modelling, pitch books and other workstreams related to the execution of projects for our clients.
Your time here will be challenging and you’ll gain a breadth of experiences through collaboration across the business. You will gain a good understanding of what we do, whether you are involved in Capital Markets (Corporate Risk Solutions, Debt Capital Markets, Equity Capital Markets, Issuer Services, Leveraged & Acquisition Finance, Strategic Equity Finance), Real Assets Financing, Structured Finance or Advisory and Investment Banking Coverage (M&A and sector advisory teams).
In Issuer Services, you will work with colleagues in the broader Global Banking and Markets business and those from Commercial Banking to structure solutions for clients using HSBC’s capital markets syndication teams and those outside the bank.
