We aim to provide funds to help young people in Papakura connect, thrive and achieve their aspirations.
If you are aged between 14-24, you can apply for a grant:
- to move into further education, or trade or vocational training
- for leadership or youth development.
When you apply for this grant, your project must align with Papakura Youth Scholarship Programme outcomes and funding priorities .
Eligibility
- include the Papakura Local Board logo on their publicity and promotional material, with the words “funded by / part funded by Papakura Local Board”
- be available to work with Auckland Council staff on media coverage
- provide at least one photograph of the event or activity.
Application Procedure
This scholarship must be used for
• undertaking tertiary study in New Zealand
• undertaking trades or vocational training
• participating in a leadership development course.
• The board will consider funding course-related costs only where fees are covered by
the government
All applications must be submitted online using this form. The application form can be saved
and returned to as you complete the form. Remember to save frequently as you work. You
can write your answers in a Word document and copy and paste them into this online form.
