They are:

  • Cape Canaveral Space Force Station, Florida
  • Decatur, Alabama
  • Harlingen, Texas
  • Pueblo, Colorado
  • Vandenberg Space Force Base, California
  • Washington, DC

Eligibility

What education and experience you’ll need

  • Must have completed at least a second year of college or university by the time of the summer internship assignment.
  • Must have a minimum college GPA of 2.90 on a 4.00 scale at the time of application; cumulative, no rounding. NOTE: An unofficial transcript is required if you are invited for an interview. We recommend you upload it to your profile when you apply.
  • Must have a valid driver’s license and motorized vehicle transportation if assigned an internship in Alabama; California; Florida; Pueblo, Colorado; or Texas. For Denver, Colorado and Washington, DC, motorized transportation is recommended.

Required Skills

  • Must be in your third year of Political Science or Public Policy studies, at the time of applying
  • Must be planning on graduating with a Bachelor’s degree in Political Science, Public Policy, or a related field of study with an emphasis in government/law
  • Must have experience with Congress
  • Must be able to complete an internship at the Arlington, VA office
  • Must have working knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, SharePoint)
  • Must have effective communication skills (verbal, written, and presentation skills)
