About Opportunity

The Victorian Manufacturing Hall of Fame Awards is now open to Recognise the achievements of exceptional manufacturers across the state.

Eligibility Requirements

All companies nominated for Victorian Manufacturing Hall of Fame recognition must have a manufacturing plant located in Victoria and/or demonstrate specialist services directly connected to Victoria’s manufacturing industry.

Companies who have been recognised by a previous award in the past three years are ineligible to apply for the same award.

For the Company Induction award, the winner will be selected from the general pool of nominations

Winners for:

  • Leader in Workforce Skills Development
  • Leader in Industry 4.0
  • Leader in Innovative Product Development and Commercialisation
  • Leader in Global Supply Chain Partnerships
  • Leader in Low Carbon Economy
  • Outstanding Responsiveness to COVID-19
  • Leader in Diversity and Inclusion
  • For individual awards, the individual must have demonstrated experience, achievement and commitment within Victoria in a manufacturing plant or a specialist manufacturing service provider based in Victoria.

Application Procedure

With the theme of ‘Making it in Victoria’, the 2022 Victorian Manufacturing Hall of Fame Awards will recognise outstanding achievements by Victorian businesses and individuals who uphold a high standard of excellence in manufacturing.

Individual awards:

  • Honour Roll (Service to Industry)
    • Recognises individuals who have made sustained and exemplary contributions to the manufacturing industry in Victoria over the course of their career.
  • Young Manufacturer of the Year (must be aged 35 years or under at 26 July 2022)
    • Recognises young individuals in the manufacturing industry whose innovation, passion and drive demonstrate the ability to lead the local industry into a positive future.
  • Woman Manufacturer of the Year
    • Recognises women who demonstrate innovation and leadership in the manufacturing industry in Victoria.
