The Young Leaders for Good Governance (YLGG) Fellowship Program, in partnership with the National Movement for Young Legislators (NMYL) is a training program for incumbent local officials aged between 21-45 years old. Coming from various regions of the Philippines, our fellows consist of board members, mayors, vice mayors, and councilors. For the past 5 years, the YLGG program has had 4 successful implementations and engaged more than 100 local officials all over the country, embarking on a wide array of activities and endeavors that promote the legacy of the late DILG secretary Jesse M. Robredo on the principle of people’s participation, empowerment, transparency, and accountability in local governance.
YLGG 5 is open for application to young local officials (governors, vice governors, board members, mayors, vice mayors, and councilors) with heart and dedication to promoting public health in their localities. Interested local officials:
- Must be an incumbent local official
- Must be 21-45 years old
- Must be committed to finishing the fellowship program
- Must submit a duly accomplished application form
